The Reformed Episcopal Church
AFFILIATION PROCESS
Church of the Holy Communion
Dallas, TX
We would like to thank you for your interest
in becoming a Reformed Episcopalian. This is an Anglican Body that seeks to
remain faithful to God and His revealed Word. Below you will find three sections
regarding membership within the Reformed Episcopal Church - Individuals, Clergy,
and Parishes. Depending on your status, certain forms and requirements may need
to be completed.
INDIVIDUALS
The first step in this process
is to find a local Reformed Episcopal parish. You may search for a parish
from the search bar in the header. If there are no parishes
in your vicinity, you may contact Bishop
Grote for further information.
When you find a parish, contact the local pastor and
he will be able to instruct you in the process.
A Letter of Transfer from your prior parish is standard
practice (if available). We also require that one be baptized and confirmed.
If you are not, the local pastor can aid you with these things as well.
CLERGY
The transfer of Clergy credentials involves a process
of application, examination, reception, and in some cases regularization
of orders. Transfers are subject to the approval of the Diocesan Bishop
and the Standing Committee. Depending on each individual's situation,
other requirements may be necessary.
Below are links for the Transfer Process and Clergy Application.
Please print, complete, and forward the application to Bishop Grote at:

PARISHES
We have a three-level process
of affiliation. Throughout the stages of association the Bishop in charge
of the geographical area in which the parish exists will oversee the process.
We offer a complete document with forms explaining the
process in further detail. It may be viewed from the link below.
