Victoria is known as the City of Gardens. It is the capital city of British Columbia, Canada. Victoria is on the southern tip of Vancouver Island bounded by ocean on three sides. Victoria is named after Queen Victoria (1819 -1901), who came to the throne in England in 1837. Victoria has managed to retain an Old-World charm that distinguishes itself from other cities.

The heart of historic Victoria radiates from the Inner Harbour. Enjoy a downtown walking tour that will guide you past heritage buildings and historic sites. For arts and culture, visit any of Victoria’s exceptional museums, galleries or theatres, many of which are housed in heritage buildings themselves.
